Reasons to Choose a Villa for Your Vacation

Villas are not as expensive to rent as people might think, and compare favouably with the cost of a hotel, especially when all the other benefits of a villa are considered.

Typical hotel rooms will have 1 or 2 beds, with a maximum occupancy of 4. For larger parties, a villa will accommodate more people, and the cost of this can be spread over the party, meaning that the cost per person can, in some cases, be even cheaper than a hotel stay.

With a villa you get your own space, you are a lot less likely to be disturbed by the people in the next room, you will not have people walking past your front door all the time, or have to worry about housekeeping, and being disturbed by the cleaning crew

Many villas are set in quiet communities, which have a nice suburban feel to them. Often there are many families with children as well as holiday homes. Most Homeowner's associations will ensure that communal areas are kept to a very high standard, and also frown on disturbances, so you can be sure of a relaxing time.

Own pool

One of the real perks, you will not need to share a hotel pool with people who you do not know, most villas come with their own heated pool, which means you can enjoy the beautiful Florida sunshine in peace and quiet, and enjoy a private swim.

More space

In a hotel, you usually have a bedroom and a bathroom. With a villa you normally have a number of bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and often several bathrooms, which means you can really spread out and make yourself feel at home when you're on holiday / vacation.

If you fancy a quiet night in, instead of a bustling restaurant, or have a special dietary requirement, then you have the option of cooking your own food in most villas. Many have fully equipped kitchens, and the open plan layout of many villas means that whoever does the cooking need not be left out of whatever anyone else is doing.

Many villas seek to provide facilities to keep their guests entertained. You will not find some of these things in hotels, or they may be shared with other guests. Examples of the kinds of facilities you might find in villas are: games rooms with pool tables, darts boards etc, 3D TV's, Blu-ray players, playstations, board games.

Not reliant on shuttle buses

Many hotels have free shuttle buses to the parks, which can be a benefit over villas and provide a cost saving, as you will not need to pay for parking at the Disney parks. However, their timetables are very rigid, with only a couple of pickups per day, and sometimes at strange times. So purely, for convenience you may still want to use your car anyway, and you then have the option of returning to enjoy the villa at any time.

Number of bathrooms

Many villas have more than one bathroom, which can make a big difference to how long it can take to get ready in the mornings, this means that you can be at the parks earlier and have more fun filled activities in your day.
